The Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Line has been selected by Boys & Girls Clubs of America to host the Regional Digital Arts Festival (DAF) in 2011.
The Club was chosen to host due to the excellence of our technology center, the varied programming offered to our members, and our close ties with community partners, including MSU-Northern and the Havre Daily News.
Local artists and professionals will be selected as regional judges for the Southwest conference. The competition categories include movies, photography, and music. Entries in each category are thematic, and judges will be provided with guidelines to determine which entries best portray thattheme. Project guidelines will also be provided to assist judges in determining the winners.
Two local club members will be competing in the photography category. Their photos were chosen from hundreds of entries to move on to the regional competition.
Regional winners will go on to compete in the national competition.
